The 2025 Joint Programme: NDE Forum and Capacity Building on Digitalization and Finance in Asia will bring together key representatives of climate technology from across Asia to strengthen regional cooperation and share lessons learned.
As part of its role under the UN Climate Convention, the CTCN has helped over 110 developing countries access and implement climate technologies. This joint programme will provide countries with an opportunity to exchange experiences from projects, discuss priorities for the upcoming year, and strengthen the links between national efforts and international support mechanisms, such as NDCs and Technology Needs Assessments and discuss financing options.
For the second time, the Forum is held in conjunction with a capacity-building programme on climate technology and finance, co-hosted with the World Bank. Centering on digitalization and leveraging the applicability of Artificial Intelligence in climate action, this programme will foster in-depth discussion between the NDEs and the World Bank’s support towards advancing digital infrastructure.
Two key activities are planned to achieve this objective:
1. Introduction to the World Bank’s projects on advancing resilience, platforms for energy efficiency, and sectoral solutions
2. Workshop on Scalable Digital Projects – A hands-on workshop aimed at learning tools, techniques, and instruments to design and develop scalable climate technology projects.
