Sarah is the Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion Lead for Climate Resilient Communities, a program that supports the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to implement the government’s commitments to increase gender responsive and socially inclusive climate and disaster resilience in the Indo Pacific. From 2023-24, Sarah was the Gender and Climate Specialist on a US State Department project to increase commitments across APEC economies.

Ani Varghese holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from NICHE, a B.Tech in Computer Engineering from CUSAT, and a Certificate in Programme Management from IIM Kozhikode. Her academic foundation combines technology, data systems, and program design, enabling her to apply digital innovation effectively in climate and sustainability domains.

Anu Vettathuparambil Velayudhan is a Climate Researcher and System Engineer at the Global Climate Forum (GCF) in Berlin, specializing in the intersection of climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable forestry. She contributes to EU-funded projects such as Real Deal and Eco2Adapt, focusing on decision theatres, forest biodiversity, and climate resilience. Anu holds a Master’s degree in Civil Systems Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
