Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Inger Andersen participated at the Global Forum on Green Cooperation Strategy, where in her opening remarks she highlighted the importance of the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) and introduced its new office in the Republic of Korea.

The CTCN Advisory Board member Dr. Henrique Schneider, who represents Business and Industry at the Board, will be speaking at the Cleantech Venture Week​​​​​​. 

Cleantech Venture Day has been a trailblazing event for the cleantech community since it started in 2006. Over the last decade and a half, more than 250 companies have pitched at Cleantech Venture Days and as much as 600 million euros has been invested as a result of the events.

The high-level event will officially launch the EU's new Gender Action Plan 2021-2025, which puts gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls at the heart of the EU's external action.

In cooperation with UN Women, the event will also consider the EU’s contribution to Beijing +25 through the Generation Equality Forum and its Action Coalitions.
