Climate technologies are central to delivering the Paris Agreement, yet stronger regional collaboration is needed to accelerate their deployment across Eastern Europe. Held alongside Baku Climate Week 2026, the Eastern Europe National Designated Entity (NDE) Forum will bring together the region's climate technology focal points in a 3-day programme to strengthen cooperation, exchange practical solutions and identify new opportunities for technical assistance, investment and partnerships.
Convened by the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), the Forum aims to reinvigorate regional engagement on climate technology by fostering peer learning, showcasing innovative solutions and connecting countries with the expertise, networks and resources needed to accelerate implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
As part of the wider Baku Climate Week programme, the Forum will also provide opportunities for participants to engage with policymakers, technology providers, financiers and international partners, strengthening regional cooperation and raising the visibility of Eastern Europe's climate technology priorities.
The detailed programme will be published shortly.
