The Asia NDE Forum and Capacity Building Programme will take place on July 7-10 2026 in Pattaya Thailand, bringing together government representatives, partners, and climate technology leaders from across the region to share good practice and lessons learned, enhance collaboration across the region, engage with CTCN Network members at a Network Fair, and facilitate a NDE-NDA Coordination Meeting.

Hosted by Thailand’s Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), in collaboration with the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the 2026 Regional NDE Forum and Capacity Building Programme on Integrating Energy Technologies in Asia convene National Designated Entities (NDEs), climate finance focal points, Network members, and regional partners to strengthen climate technology collaboration and system transformation across Asia.

The programme will focus on integrating emerging and proven energy technologies, including AI-enabled approaches for climate action, while supporting stronger coordination between technology and finance stakeholders to accelerate implementation and scaling of climate solutions.

Through peer learning, technical discussions, matchmaking opportunities, and a field visit to Thai Eastern Group Holdings PCL, participants will explore practical examples of organic waste management, bioenergy production, renewable energy utilization, waste heat utilization, and applied research and development for integrated energy systems.

The programme supports exchanges on Technology Mechanism-Financial Mechanism (TM-FM) linkages and identification of scalable climate technology opportunities aligned with national priorities and available financing modalities.

This joint programme will also cover:
a) Shared experiences and best practice from CTCN technical assistance in the region
b) Enhanced knowledge on integrating energy systems through AI, and
c) National coordination in identifying and discussing scalable climate technology options, considering available modalities of the CTCN, the GCF, and MDBs.
