The Government of Ghana has asked the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) to assist in drafting a national policy on e-mobility. The country aims to increase urban resiliency and create new green business opportunities.

According to the estimates, the Accra alone hosts more than 50% of total registered vehicles nationwide. The most frequently used modes of road transports are private cars, taxis, mini-buses and buses.
