The launch of this new USD 10 million pilot small grants programme was announced at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) in Madrid. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)/CTCN and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) administrate the AFCIA and offer technical assistance (UNEP/CTCN) and grant funding (UNDP) to developing countries.
The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) is organizing the regional forum for the National Designated Entities (NDEs) in the Latin America and the Caribbean region (LAC). This year, the CTCN will structure its regional forum according to the five key themes of the Technology Framework: innovation; implementation; enabling environment; collaboration and stakeholder engagement; and support.
