I am a Pacific researcher and development practitioner with more than 20 years of professional and research experience across Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Samoa and Tonga. Her work spans climate resilience, gender equality and women’s empowerment, food security, livelihoods, agriculture, fisheries, local economic development and local governance.

Gulnar Wakim is a gender equality, human rights and social development expert with extensive academic, professional and field-based experience across the Middle East, Africa and other international contexts. Her work focuses on gender equality and social inclusion, women’s empowerment and political participation, protection, human rights, institutional gender mainstreaming, research, training and evaluation.

Luis has 20 years of experience in gender mainstreaming, project management, gender analysis and capacity building with the public and private sectors including digital development, climate & clean technology. My experience includes advising hundreds of clean energy, digital and tech enabled enterprises, investors, and donor programs across emerging markets. Further, I have led or contributed to 70+ knowledge products used by DFIs, MDBs, UN agencies, investors, enterprises, and policymakers globally. Luis is from Mexico and lives in Mozambique.

Millie Ogden builds infrastructure for a Pacific SIDS, Vanuatu. She is the founder and Project Director of Green Horizon Energy, a Geothermal Direct-Use for Agriculture Processing. She is also the founder and CEO of 3 Link, an ISP licensee in Vanuatu delivering satellite broadband to schools, clinics, farms, and government in remote areas. She served on the board of the Vanuatu Rural Development Bank and with Kacific Broadband Satellite International.

I am a PhD researcher in Water Resources Management at Shahid Beheshti University, with a Master’s degree from Sharif University of Technology. I currently work as an engineer in the Technical and Civil Engineering Department of Tehran Municipality, within the Department of Surface Water Channels and River Engineering, where I contribute to surface water management and flood prevention through the planning, assessment, and management of urban drainage channels and river systems.

He participado en proyectos de reforestación con árboles nativos, huertos agroecológicos y talleres de educación ambiental con comunidades. A través de mi proyecto Raíces Nativas, busco promover la conservación de la naturaleza y motivar a más personas a involucrarse en el cuidado de su entorno.

Rahul Teku Vaswani is a Climate Change, Finance and Sustainability Expert with an interdisciplinary academic background in engineering, natural resources, sustainable development and international affairs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Natural Resources and Sustainable Development, and a Master of Arts in International Affairs.

Dr Clarice Princess Mudzengi is an ecologist who has worked as an Innovation Hub Manager at Great Zimbabwe University, responsible for facilitating activities that create, recognize, elaborate, and articulate research and innovation activities to result in prototypes. Prior to this she was a lecturer of natural resource management and agriculture in the Gary Magadzire School of Agriculture and Engineering.
