I am an environmental specialist with over a decade of experience in climate change mitigation, greenhouse gas inventory analysis, and climate vulnerability assessment. Holding a B.Sc. in Environmental Protection and Disaster Risk Management from Kabul University, I currently serve as a Greenhouse Gases Analysis Expert at the National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA) of Afghanistan.

Nancy Marangu is passionate to advance inclusion, gender equity, and climate resilience. In her capacity as Co-founder & Strategy Specialist at Chemichemi Foundation, Kenya, she envisions an inclusive infrastructure that empowers youth, women, indigenous peoples and local communities with technical skills in space science for climate resilience. Under Nancy's leadership, the Foundation focuses on upskilling women and youth in environmental justice, encouraging them to drive innovation and develop practical solutions for climate action.

Bettinah Maruti is a climate adaptation and climate technology practitioner based in Kenya, with an academic background in Computer and Electronic Systems Engineering and professional training in climate policy. She is UN FAO-certified in Climate Change Negotiations for Agricultural Stakeholders and works at the intersection of technology deployment, climate-smart agriculture and capacity development in developing-country contexts.

I am an undergraduate Biotechnology student with a deep personal commitment to climate action, sustainable agriculture, and science-driven solutions for environmental challenges. Alongside my academic studies, I work in a laboratory where I have gained practical experience in microbiology, biofertilizers, anaerobic digestion, biogas systems, and environmentally friendly alternatives to chemical fertilizers.

As European Commission Project Officer, she was overseeing a £75 Million portfolio of sustainable innovation projects in Europe fostering a green transition. 

I am a climate change and environment researcher with over 12 years of experience in sustainable land, water, and agricultural resource management in dryland and arid ecosystems. I hold a B.Sc. in Water Resources and Environmental Management and an M.Sc. in Climate Change and Environment Technology from the University of Jordan, where my thesis applied remote sensing to assess climate change impacts on the Water–Energy–Food nexus.

Gretel Posadas is an international consultant in ocean policy, climate diplomacy, and strategic advisory, with dual French and Honduran nationality. She has built a career at the intersection of international relations, sustainable development, and cultural diplomacy, supporting national delegations, governments, and NGOs in advancing climate and ocean governance agendas.
