Ms. Mwayi Kampesi is the founder of Planet Green Africa, a Malawi-based clean cooking enterprise producing Nyasa Moto biofuel briquettes from recycled agricultural waste. Her work connects climate mitigation, circular economy production and community-based fuel access by offering an affordable alternative to charcoal and firewood for households, institutions and small businesses. Through Planet Green Africa's model, she has supported local production, community kiosks and women-led distribution, helping create livelihood opportunities while reducing pressure on forests and promoting cleaner cooking. She has practical experience in clean cooking, renewable biomass fuel, agricultural-waste valorisation, climate entrepreneurship and gender-inclusive community energy access in Malawi.
