The Circular Economy Show is a fortnightly discussion and debate around how we can move from a linear take-make-waste economy towards a circular economy, organized by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. Context

Among the total energy consumption of the Kyrgyz Republic, the building sector comprises more than seventy percent. The analysis on creating an inventory for the public buildings was conducted in May 2018 to identify its energy saving potential with energy efficient measures and garner global investment opportunities in the sector. The study reported 9,780 public buildings consume 850 GWh/year, which is 10% of total energy consumption with annually increasing rates.

The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) presented its support mechanism at a workshop “Private Sector Contribution to Climate Change Adaptation” dedicated to the stakeholders from Bangladesh and Viet Nam. The workshop was organised on 9th February 2021 (for Bangladesh) and on 2nd March 2021 (for Viet Nam) by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI).
