The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) is offering two secondment position and it is currently accepting applications for Fall 20202 (deadline: 10 August 2020):
- A secondee who will support the CTCN’s work on gender and youth
- A secondee who will support CTCN’s technical assistance projects with focus on climate change adaptation
Selected secondees, representing the Centre’s Network, National Designated Entities, Consortium partner, and/or CTCN donor institutions are invited to participate in the work of the CTCN Secretariat in Copenhagen, Denmark for a period of between 6 and 12 months.
The purpose of the programme is to expand the CTCN’s abilities to respond to developing country needs by utilizing the expertise within its network of partners, to give partner organizations hands-on experience with the work in the global climate community, and to foster inter-regional and inter-cultural exchange and collaboration.
Due to the travel restrictions under the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the CTCN invites the applications from Network members, NDEs, Consortium partners and CTCN donor institutions located in Annex I countries and Parties in Europe. Eligible countries and Parties include: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and European Union (the eligibility is further subject to the Danish government’s guidance on travel restrictions).
A complete application should contain the following three documents:
• Completed and signed Personal History Form
• Motivation letter (1 page, please follow instructions below)
• A copy of your passport
Applications need to be submitted via email by your organization’s CTCN contact person to [email protected]. Only applications submitted by the CTCN contact person of your organization will be considered eligible.
