Green Climate Fund
The Green Climate Fund catalyzes investment in transformative climate technologies. As the operating entities of the Convention - CTCN under the Technology Mechanism and GCF under the Financial Mechanism - both established under the CMA and governed by the COP, we work together to support developing countries in accessing finance for low-emission, climate-resilient development pathways. We place strong emphasis on country-driven priorities and coordinated national ownership.
Global Environment Facility
As one of the oldest and largest multilateral environmental funds, the Global Environment Facility supports a broad range of environmental projects, often smaller in scale. In partnership with the UN Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), our collaborative projects enhance countries’ adaptive management capacities to address climate challenges effectively.
World Intellectual Property Organization - WIPO
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) promotes the use of intellectual property to support innovation and technology development, including in the field of climate change. In collaboration with the CTCN, WIPO helps build capacity and facilitate access to the WIPO GREEN database, supporting the transfer and deployment of climate technologies in developing countries.
Adaptation Fund
The Adaptation Fund finances concrete climate adaptation projects that help vulnerable communities in developing countries adapt to climate change. Initiatives are based on country needs, views and priorities. Our joint efforts support countries to test, scale up and leverage innovative, transformative, and locally led climate adaptation technologies across the technology cycle and anchor these into National Systems of Innovation.
Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF)
The Women Engage for a Common Future champions gender equality and women’s leadership in environmental and climate action. Through our collaboration, we advance gender-just climate solutions that are inclusive, locally rooted, and responsive to the diverse needs of communities. By integrating gender-responsive approaches, we empower women and marginalized groups to lead transformative action at the grassroots level.
SF6 Transition Network
The SF₆ Transition Network is a global knowledge exchange platform on the management and phase-out of SF₆ , convening pioneers and interested stakeholders from government, industry, finance, international organizations, NGOs and academia to share experience, learn from each other, align approaches, and accelerate the transition away from SF₆ in the power sector.

RD&D Programmes
Exclusive to our Network members, our RD&D programmes provide a platform for knowledge exchange and the establishment of twinning institutional arrangements between Network members. With the support of our NDEs, we offer three modules that engage Network members in playing a central role in both North-South and South-South collaboration for climate technologies. Roedl & Partner manages the Geothermal Risk Mitigation Fund (East Africa).

World Coal Association is the global industry association formed of major international coal producers and stakeholders. The WCA works to demonstrate and gain acceptance for the role coal plays in achieving a sustainable and lower carbon energy future. World coal organization's regular policy analysis, workshops, media updates and strategic research provide access to the highest level of information on the global coal industry and its role in energy, climate and sustainable development issues.
Perspectives Climate Change offers high quality, comprehensive and tailor-made solutions for international climate policy and carbon market activities. Perspectives Climate Change consults the private sector as well as governments and non-governmental organisations, and seeks to maximize economic opportunities within the existing climate policy system, contributing to the enhancement of the international climate regime.
Carbon Africa’s mission is to catalyze climate action in Africa by providing policy, programme and project advisory services to public and private actors, with a focus on making things happen on the ground. The company offers services in project development, access to climate finance and impact monitoring, underpinned by efforts to support the enabling environment and build capacity. Carbon Africa is headquartered in Kenya with representation in Ethiopia, Mozambique and Rwanda.
REEEP serves as a funder, information provider and connector for up-scaling clean energy business models in developing countries and emerging markets. REEEP's International Secretariat is based in Vienna, Austria, with Regional Secretariats in East Asia, Latin America, Caribbean, South Asia and Southern Africa and a West Africa focal point.
The Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC) is a non-governmental organization supported by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan, promoting international cooperation activities related to climate change, global environment conservation, research, capacity building, and support to various non-government related activities.

NERCI, a non-profit research centre was established in 1999 to conduct basic and applied research in ocean and atmospheric sciences and coastal zone management. Its vision is to improve our understanding of climate change, its impact on the monsoon and ocean circulation and ecosystems in the Indian Ocean using in situ observations, satellite data and numerical ocean and climate models.
