  • 15+ years of experience in climate finance, carbon markets, project origination and procuring carbon solutions (technology based and nature based) in the private & public sector and international organizations (United Nations and World Bank)
  • Experienced in technology based carbon removal lifecycle analysis, MRV, carbon value chain assessment and risk analysis (DOE – DAC LCA, MRV: BECCS, World Bank: didgital market infrastructure) 
  • Doctoral research fellowship at the Gund Institute for Environment (University of Vermont and Mc Gill) – Natural Resources and Innovation Technology (AI/Machine Learning)
  • Executive roles: 
    • Director of Origination at Base Carbon
      • Advancing project opportunities from concept to execution in a cross-vertical approach. 
      • Community engagement strategies and co-benefit monitoring in project origination, selection, diligence, financial structuring, and registration.

    • Climate policy advisor at the United Nations HQ (Department of Social and Economic Affairs) working on public-private partnerships across carbon markets and the Paris Agreement, focus on sustainable transport (CORSIA negotiations) and supply chain decarbonization 
    • Ph.D. Candidate Natural Resources (University of Vermont), Google Cloud Faculty Scholar, M.Sc. in Economics (Econometrics, Applied Policy Analysis) from NOVA SBE (Ranked #3 for European Economics Master the year of graduation), Advanced Certificate in Data Analysis and Visualization from UC Berkeley.
