Please provide your short bio reflecting on your academic, professional and practical background

I am an emerging leader in the area of advancing gender equality in the energy space, and an energy transition expert in the broad sense, having worked on topics from energy access to industrial energy efficiency. I have supported governments, international organisations and NGOs across four continents with gender-responsive energy policy and programme development, and co-authored several reports on  the need to advance gender equality and social inclusion to maximise the socio-economic benefits of the energy transition. I have also worked on the empowerment of women smallholder farmers in African countries.

I hold a Master of Science in Environmental Science, Policy and Management, speak six languages and have lived and worked in eight different countries.
