Maamle Totimeh is an experienced business leader and CEO of Melmade Consult, where she focuses on climate resilience, advisory work, capital raising, and providing post-investment support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). With over 20 years of experience in investment banking, Maamle has developed a strong expertise in fostering sustainable business practices and enhancing the climate resilience of SMEs and agribusinesses across Africa.

 

Maamle’s work is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, particularly in the agriculture sector, grow their businesses through training, mentoring, and coaching. She works closely with smallholder farmers and agribusinesses to build climate resilience and adaptive capacities, enabling them to navigate the impacts of climate change. By identifying key challenges, Maamle designs tailored solutions to improve resource management, increase productivity, and foster sustainable practices that ensure long-term environmental and economic stability.

 

Her expertise extends to developing policies, processes, and systems that empower SMEs and agribusinesses to become more resilient to climate risks. She has been instrumental in helping these businesses implement strategies that enhance their operational efficiency, sustainability, and market access.
