    Louise Croneborg-Jones is a senior water specialist with a passion for climate information services in LDCs and for scaling innovations that strengthen water security. Louise is a resilient and optimistic leader who loves to apply her skills and experiences from across the public and private sector, mostly in Africa, to mentor younger professionals and to support governments in navigating intricate water, adaptation and financing challenges.

    In the water sector, Louise's proficiency spans 15 years' experience in development financing and water investments. From roles as a Task Team Leader for the World Bank to serving as a Project Director at environmental consultancies, she excels in capturing funding opportunities and leading large-scale projects - from dam construction, managed aquifer recharge, water services, catchment restoration, and climate adaptation efforts.

    Leading the startup Water in Sight, Louise scales the potential of data platforms to provide new and integrated water and weather observations to governments in Malawi and Mozambique.

    As person, Louise is always curious about the people she meets and brings a strong sense of respect to cultures and science.
