    Please provide your short bio reflecting on your academic, professional and practical background

    Diana is a bilingual Political Scientist from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, she holds an MSc degree in Sociology from the same university. Between the second semester of 2019 and the second semester of 2020, she was a founder, member, and leader of the Ecofeminism group of the University’s environmental group (MAUA by its acronym in Spanish). She is interested in social research in a broad sense and with an emphasis on socio-environmental issues since several of her professional experiences have been in this area. She has knowledge in research and experience specifically in qualitative type projects, high-quality literature review, and search for documentary information. She has good expertise in NVivo (Software for Qualitative Data Analysis), Gephi (Software for Social Network Analysis ), and knowledge of statistical software for quantitative research (Software for Statistics and Data Science - STATA ). Also, experience in assisting students in writing, argumentative structure, and written communication, after two years of work at the Centro de Español (An Spanish writing center) of Universidad de Los Andes and as a beneficiary of the Francisco Pizano de Brigard scholarship. Her long-term goal is to do a PhD, academic life and working in environmental affairs.
