    Cathy Yitong Li has been focusing on multilateral climate processes and civil society advocacy since she was a teenager, including serving advisory and governance roles across 7 UN bodies and various international organisations.

    Passionate about the synergies between climate and nature, Cathy is the IUCN Climate Commission Deputy Chair and by profession, the Nature Programme Manager of the High Level Climate Champions Team.

    Besides working with IGOs and NGOs, Cathy has experience advising governments and businesses, including as a Young Leader of IKEA and previously with Deloitte.

    Within the technology mechanism, Cathy represented the Women and Gender Constituency and YOUNGO in meetings of the TEC and CTCN AB over the years, as well as co-coordinated their advocacy towards the COP26 decision on the first seats for these two constituencies at a UNFCCC constituted body, besides serving as a member of TEC's activity groups.
