Strategic-thinking senior gender, climate change, financing expert with >12 years international experience across government, private and community sectors. Specializes in developing and delivering gender inclusive, integrated solutions to accelerate uptake of green/clean tech and climate-adapted NRM for the low carbon transition (digital, AI, smart, MRV). Works collaboratively and is strong on R&D, engagement, and organisation.
Recent practical assignments include:
NDC Partnership/Commonwealth Secretariat - Team Lead and Senior Gender Expert leading practical R&D of a global first gender-targeted micro-equity blended finance instrument for climate vulnerable SMEs under the Sustainable Island Resource Framework (SIRF) Fund managed by the Gov., of Antigua and Barbuda.
UNOPS / ICAT - Researched and authored ICAT Guide “Integrating gender in National Transparency Frameworks” (forthcoming) to improving the effectiveness of climate action by integrating gender dimensions.
Commonwealth Secretariat - Senior Gender Expert researched and authored First and Second editions of Gender Integration for Climate Action: A Review of Commonwealth Member Country NDCs; and a Commonwealth Best Practice Guide. Peer reviewed and launched respectively at COP 26 by Åsa Regnér, Deputy Executive Director, UN Women and COP 27 by Sec-Gen., Commonwealth the Rt.Hon., Patricia Scotland KC
UNDP Climate Promise - Led R&D of the Gender Responsive Financial Sector Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan for Gov., of Antigua and Barbuda, under UNDP “Enabling Gender-Responsive Disaster Recovery, Climate and Environmental Resilience in the Caribbean” (EnGenDER) project.
NDC Partnership/GGGI - Led R&D and authored Renewable Energy Policy Guidelines for Gender & Social Inclusion and Investment Strategy under OECS /GGGI ”Climate Action Enhancement Package” for Gov., of Antigua and Barbuda to leverage renewable energy and efficiency solutions for climate vulnerable households and SMEs.
