Branislava Ilic is an accomplished Gender and Climate Technology Expert with a robust academic foundation and extensive professional experience spanning over a decade. She holds a Master of Science degree in Geography, specializing in the methodology of Teaching Geography, from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Nis, Serbia, where she graduated with top honors.
Professionally, Branislava has held various influential roles, including her most recent position as a Specialist in Advising and Capacity Building on Data Analytics within the Department of Peace Operations at the United Nations. Here, she played a pivotal role in managing data platforms and developing guidelines that enhanced the capacity of the Evaluation Team to navigate complex data ecosystems. Her expertise in climate change adaptation was honed during her tenure as a Senior Consultant supporting the Intergovernmental Working Group on Drought at UNCCD, where she contributed significantly to policy development and institutional coordination on drought preparedness.
