Chemical engineer and gender and social inclusion (GESI) expert with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of sustainable energy, climate change, and inclusive development. She combines a strong technical background in climate technologies with expertise in integrating gender-responsive approaches into mitigation and adaptation interventions.

She has extensive experience within the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, where she supported the design and implementation of climate technology and industrial decarbonization projects, ensuring alignment with gender equality objectives and social safeguards. Her work includes the integration of gender markers, environmental and social safeguards, and inclusive stakeholder engagement processes in projects financed by the Green Climate Fund and the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.

She has led gender analyses, baseline assessments, and training programmes, with a focus on strengthening endogenous capacity, promoting women’s participation in technical fields, and improving equitable access to climate technologies.

She has also designed and implemented initiatives to advance women’s economic empowerment in male-dominated sectors such as refrigeration and air conditioning, combining technical training, leadership development, and policy engagement. Her experience spans Latin America, Africa, and Asia, working closely with governments, national ozone units, and local stakeholders.
