I am a gender and climate specialist with over 15 years of experience integrating gender equality and social inclusion into climate policy, sustainable technology initiatives, and environmental governance processes. I hold an MSc in Management of Agro-ecological Knowledge and Social Change from Wageningen University and a BSc in Biology (Ecology), combining technical understanding with systems thinking and participatory change methodologies.
Professionally, I have worked at the intersection of climate mitigation and adaptation, community resilience, and institutional strengthening. As National Co-Director of WECF Georgia, I led gender integration across renewable energy, rural resilience, energy efficiency, and sustainable water initiatives, translating technical climate solutions into inclusive implementation frameworks. I contributed to Georgia’s UNFCCC reporting processes, including National Communications and Biennial Transparency Reports, ensuring that gender considerations were embedded in technology needs, mitigation measures, and adaptation planning.
My work bridges policy analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and practical field implementation, supporting institutions and organizations to design, assess and implement climate technology pathways that are socially inclusive, context-responsive, and equitable.
I am particularly committed to strengthening the capacity of national and local actors to integrate gender considerations into technology assessment, planning and monitoring processes, ensuring that climate technologies contribute to transformative and sustainable development outcomes.
