Pure Energy (Regen) Limited has demonstrated proven experience in addressing the intersection of gender and climate change through a range of impactful initiatives. The team integrates gender-sensitive approaches in energy projects, ensuring that women and marginalized groups are not only protected from the adverse effects of climate change but also empowered to lead in climate action.
We have actively engaged with local communities, conducting workshops and supported “Equate Scotland” low carbon up-skilling program training to build resilience and promote equal access to renewable energy solutions. Through these efforts, we focus on amplifying women’s voices in energy decision-making, especially in areas where traditional energy access is limited.
In addition, we collaborate with international organizations to develop and implement policies that promote gender equality in the context of climate change and energy transition. Our projects aim to bridge the gender gap in energy access and contribute to climate change mitigation, ensuring that both men and women benefit equally from sustainable energy solutions.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive, gender-responsive approach that advances both sustainable energy and climate resilience for all.
Alan was also selected to participate in the UK Royal Academy of Engineering “Visiting Engineers Scheme – Japan”, spending one year seconded to Mitsui & Co, based in Tokyo, Okayama and Hong Kong.
