The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) organized the cRD&D Introduction Webinar as part of its new focus on Collaborative Research, Development, and Demonstration of climate technologies. Building on CTCN’s long-standing support for low-carbon, climate-resilient pathways in over 110 countries, this webinar highlighted how cRD&D fosters joint knowledge generation, context-specific innovation, and equitable cooperation between technology providers and recipients.
The sessions presented CTCN’s strategic vision for cRD&D, introduced cooperation models and project cycles, and outlined opportunities such as the 2026 Learning Visit and Bridge-Building Workshop. Participants also had the chance to engage regionally and exchange insights during a live Q&A.
The webinar was held on October 28 online via MS Teams in two sessions for different time zones. Both sessions followed the same agenda and were conducted in English, with live subtitle translation available in selected languages.
CTCN invited all National Designated Entities (NDEs) an Network members to join this webinar.
