Two seminars under the framework of “NDRC 2017 Training Programme on South-South Cooperation of Addressing Climate Change” took place in Beijing in November, organized by Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES), and implemented by China National Cleaner Production Center.

The seminars invited 57 participants from 32 countries. The participants serve in the areas of climate change, cleaner production, green & low-carbon development, energy conservation, environmental management and other related area in their own countries. Around 20 participants were enrolled through the Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN).

The seminars aimed at sharing China’s measures and achievements in addressing climate change and low-carbon development, and exhibiting China’s advanced technologies and products, meanwhile, investigating the policy and technology requirements of participants’ countries, creating cooperation opportunities between Chinese enterprises & research institutes and organizations form developing countries, promoting application of energy conservation and low-carbon technologies, and achieving sustainable development.
