The National Designated Entity (NDE) of Tunisia organized a national event to raise awareness about the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) at the national level and to identify technical assistance request ides to facilitate the implementation of Tunisia’s Nationally Determined Contributions and Technology Needs Assessment.
Around 40 participants from the private and public sector and civil society attended the event, including the National Designated Authority to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The event featured presentations on the Centre, with a strong focus on technical assistance examples, and on Tunisia’ experience and ongoing plans with the Green Climate Fund and opportunities for joint CTCN-GCF activities.
Tunis International Center for Environmental Technologies (CITET), the first Tunisian organization to join the Network, presented its activities on environmental technologies and organized a site visit to its facilities and technology park.
