As the implementation arm of the Technology Mechanism, the CTCN serves as a trusted technology partner, matching developing country needs for climate change-related technology equipment, methods, capacity building and policy advice with world-class expertise. The CTCN’s activities are guided by multi-year Programmes of Work (PoW) that follow a country-driven approach aligning with the Technology Framework of the Paris Agreement.
The CTCN is now developing its third Programme of Work (2023-2027) through a consultative and inclusive approach, reaching out to all key stakeholders – including National Designated Entities, Network members, donors, advisory board, and UNFCCC constituency groups -- to provide reflections, perspectives, and expectations that will importantly inform the development of this PoW.

We continue to seek feedback and would be interested in hearing from you in the coming days on our three service areas: technical assistance, capacity building, and knowledge sharing. What has worked well? What can the CTCN do differently? How can we better deliver on our mandate to be demand-driven in our provision of technical assistance to countries, and how can we better support them in achieving their NDCs?
