The CTCN Forum was an occasion to develop and strengthen the regional network of NDEs and their relationship with other technology stakeholders, with a view to identify matchmaking opportunities to CTCN requests or other climate technology activities. Participants dioscussed the Paris Outcome in relation to Technology Transfer and Technology Mechanism, linkages between the Technology and Finance Mechanism; as well as shared experiences on set up and activities of NDEs at national level and use of CTCN Technical Assistance. CTCN Consortium Partners introduced technology options in priority sectors, and Network Members presented successful case studies related to climate technology projects in the region.

The event for Anglophone Africa took place in Nairobi, Kenya on 27-29 September, in parallel with the SEED Africa Symposium (28-29 September), an annual international forum attended by 500 enterprises, researchers, practitioners, investors, policy makers and representatives of the civil society who shared knowledge and experience, established partnerships, and developed solutions to stimulate the growth of social and eco-entrepreneurship across the African continent.
