COP27. Advancing Paris Agreement Implementation and Climate Action through Innovation and Technology

Global Innovation Hub and the CTCN co-organized 'Session 2: Advancing Paris Agreement implementation and climate action through innovation and technology' on its 'Transformative Climate Action' Day. 

Innovation and technology are powerful catalysts for reducing global warming by providing cleaner and more efficient solutions to address climate change. Two core innovation and technology organisations-WIPO and CTCN-will present concrete examples of activities and solutions that are having tangible impacts on the path towards net zero emmissions by 2050.  WIPO and CTCN have been working to unlock the power of innovation and technology to support regional, national and community responses to climate change. Additionally, WIPO and CTCN are also cooperating on a new flagship publication titled the “Green Technology Book” which provides an overview of actual technology solutions that are available-with the first edition examining adaptation technologies.
