Technologies are vital to building climate-resilient, low-carbon societies. Many essential technologies already exist — the challenge is to get them deployed where they are needed, and to build the enabling environments to support technology innovation, adaptation and scale-up. An overwhelming number of developing countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement indicate a requirement for technology support and capacity building in order to achieve their commitments. To meet this need, the CTCN serves as a demand-driven and trusted partner, matching developing countriy needs for climate change-related equipment, methods, capacity development and policy advice with the world-class expertise of its Network and our collaborators.

Interwaste R&D (EA) Trust is a nonprofit registered in Kenya, and focus in Africa and our TRUST is also UNEP accredited. Please see www.interwaste-ea.co.ke for more information. We are looking for strategic and specialized
partners, investors, and technical assistance for implementation services of our initiatives in Africa, through value addition and use of advanced technologies currently available. Our concerns are environmental challenges caused by
urban solid wastes, wastewater, WASH, agriculture/irrigation, DEFORESTATION and chemical and hazardous wastes sectors in Africa. and look forward for a planet pollution free. We target waste to energy schemes, urban
waste, wastewater engineering, land filling engineering, land fill gas, dump sites rehabilitation; with development of mechanism for reduction of GHG Emissions in developing countries; anaerobic digestion and Bioelectrochemical
systems, education, research & development and training young men and women in these sectors in Africa. We need support from countries, companies and experts with environmental success stories, and other infrastructure
development projects (including real estate) as committed relevant Organizations.
