Please provide your short bio reflecting on your academic, professional and practical background

I am a consultant with expertise in climate change and environmental science. With a strong academic background, including a Master’s in Computer Science and Environmental Science Management, I combine technical skills in data analysis, programming, and environmental management. I have over 12 years of experience in IT, working with organizations to build and manage information systems, and network infrastructures, and providing consulting in software deployment and website development. In my consulting role, I focus on greenhouse gas inventory estimation, national climate plans (including LT-LEDS and NDC), mitigation and adaptation strategies and modelling of indigenous knowledge in the fight against climate change . I am passionate about combining technology with climate action, and my experience extends to capacity building and mentoring stakeholders in Cameroon on climate change-related initiatives.

I have experience in gender and climate issues through youth activism, representation in climate negotiations (2023-2025), and training initiatives. This includes working with U-Reporters from UNICEF and leading climate change and vulnerability assessment training for youth.

Additionally, I contribute to the Central Africa Women's Initiative for Climate Action (WICA) with the support of the U.S. Forest Service International Program. As an assistant instructor, I provide training on GHG inventory, reporting, and key category assessments—helping policymakers identify priority sectors for impactful action in achieving their NDC objectives.

This training has empowered young women, addressed gender-specific climate vulnerabilities—particularly in Central Africa (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and Chad)—and promoted women's leadership in climate discussions. The program also selects top participants to engage in the Conference of the Parties (COP).

I have participated in training the last three cohorts (2022, 2023, 2024).
