Veena Ramachandran

My role as a Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting Assistant Consultant at the Green Climate Fund involved the collection and consolidation of data and information on the performance of GCF’s portfolio of projects for both Funded Activities and Readiness throughout the lifecycle. My work helped me contribute to key functions across the Secretariat, including but not limited to reporting on the GCF portfolio, its financial performance and adaptation and mitigation impacts and building of portfolio performance management systems, tools, platforms. My role as an Evaluation Consultant at the Global Environment Facility involved designing and testing portfolio review protocols, data collection and qualitative analysis, preparing case studies to understand how environmental issues are addressed at the project level, collecting geospatial data for indicators to map areas where GEF efforts need to be concentrated, and identifying best practices for project monitoring.
