I have 20+ years of research, relief, and developmental work experience in the field of market and economic development; green TVET; food security; and health and nutrition in Nepal, India, Yemen and Israel while working for private, civil society, and government agencies. I have designed and managed both MEAL and project implementation for the project financed by Happel/ Gates/ Cargill Foundation, BMZ, ECHO, EU, USAID, FCDO, BMGF, SIDA, DFAT and UNWFP; that also included designing and handling of “innovation challenge funds”. I have proven business development track-record: led the processes that raised over $15M grants and impact-investment; that also include the setting of MEAL systems at project, program and mission levels. I have led over twenty technical studies and developed over fifty knowledge products. My academic journey spans over various disciplines, from business administration and sociology to agricultural and nutritional sciences. I am trained in “Gender Analysis” and possess a Level 2 certification on “Project Management for Development Professionals (PMDPro)”. I am an organized and trusted professional with deep interest in exploring the impact of climate change dynamics; and had co-designed a climate research project “Climate Risk Analysis for Identifying and Weighing Adaptation Strategies for Smallholders” together with ZEF/ University of Bonn.
