Sara Rosen is the Program and Operations Manager at Solar Cookers International (SCI), where she works to advance solar cooking as a scalable clean cooking solution. She focuses on helping organizations design strong, locally grounded projects and move from early concepts or pilots toward implementation at scale, working closely with NGOs, governments, and multilateral partners.

She joined SCI in 2023, bringing over a decade of experience supporting nonprofits in fragile and conflict-affected settings. Her work has ranged from developing education programs in refugee camps on the Thailand–Myanmar border to advising community-based initiatives across Southeast Asia, and later contributing to civilian protection efforts with organizations in Washington, D.C.

Sara specializes in strengthening the technical and operational foundations of programs while coordinating across stakeholders. Organizations developing solar or clean cooking initiatives, especially those aiming to scale or align with policy and funding frameworks, can work with her and SCI to move projects forward.
