Samir Kumar Sahu ,with utmost academic qualification and professional expertise, practices over 25 years in the field of forest conservation, environmental issues of five “J”s, climate change, rehabilitation & resettlement, agriculture, sericulture, mulberry silk worms culture, development research, agro-economy, food security & livelihood, community Health issue in forest and urban landscape disease. Rural and tribal development, bio-energy & solar energy, monitoring & evaluation, net working & capacity building training and documentation, with various training & exposure to allied development sector field. Samir, also publish number of research articles in national and international Journals, periodicals, and Books.
To records, Previously (2010-2012) Worked as a State Head-Team Leader, Orissa State Road Project (OSRP),Bhubaneswar, The World Bank Mission Project, Govt. of Odisha, to addressing social safeguard issues, link to winding and expending the Odisha state highways, with reference to Resettlement and Rehabilitation of Project Affected Person(PAP’s), Gender issue and Economic Development, roadside forestry, and plantation, community Health like HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria, Environment, Tribal Empowerment, Monitor and Evaluation the activities Rehabilitation assistance and relocation of PAPs and their proper utilization, in the six project in 1st phase of the project.
