Please provide your short bio reflecting on your academic, professional and practical background

Hi, my name is Minju Baek. I specialize in crop modeling in the ecology sector and climate change risk vulnerability assessment research, with a strong academic background and extensive international experience.

I hold a Master’s degree in Agricultural Biotechnology from Seoul National University, where I developed innovative frameworks to assess climate vulnerability and adaptive capacity, combining cutting-edge data analysis techniques and spatial tools.

I have had the privilege of working on various international projects and collaborating with teams in countries like the Philippines, Georgia, Laos, Bangladesh and Vanuatu, focusing on enhancing agricultural resilience and developing climate information systems. My time as an Erasmus+ scholar in Latvia and my involvement in global initiatives have given me a solid foundation for working effectively in multicultural environments.

Currently, I work as the International Marketing Manager at EPINET Co., Ltd., where I lead efforts to expand agricultural meteorology solutions globally. I am passionate about bridging research and real-world applications to create sustainable impacts in agriculture and environmental management. With a mindset that values adaptability and collaboration, I aim to contribute to building resilient agricultural communities worldwide.
