Please provide your short bio reflecting on your academic, professional and practical background

I am an environmental management and Restoration practitioner from Nigeria, West Africa, with over 10 years of hands-on experience in spearheading positive change through impactful projects.

I have been at the forefront of significant projects, including leading Sustainable Land Management initiatives in the Sahelian Belt of Northern Nigeria.

My commitment to community-driven solutions shines through my involvement in Participatory Land Use-Planning and Resource Mapping projects under the IFAD-CASP initiative. By fostering community engagement and sustainable resource management, we ensure that solutions are not only effective but also resonate with the communities they serve.

My expertise extends to climate change adaptation, and I take pride in being the youngest member of the team that reviewed Nigeria's National Drought Plan in 2018.

In 2017, I embarked on a significant venture by co-founding the Drylands Initiative for Ecosystem Restoration and Capacity Building (DINERCAB).

Currently, I am actively contributing as a Supervisor for Climate Smart Agriculture and Renewable Energy with the Nigerian Incentive Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL). In this role, I am championing climate-resilient agricultural practices and advocating for renewable energy solutions in the agricultural sector.

My educational background and extensive experience position me as an expert in gender and climate technology issues. From climate finance to stakeholder engagement, community resource mapping, and sustainable land use management, I bring a multifaceted perspective to environmental challenges. My passion lies in creating a more sustainable and resilient future for communities, driven by my unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship.
