I am a recent Ph.D. graduate, qualified Engineer, and international researcher specializing in secure 6G networking, AI-driven systems, and climate technology solutions for disaster response. I hold my Ph.D. in Information Architecture, Production Systeme, and Integrated Systems Engineering from Waseda University. My core research focuses on decentralized 6G frameworks, blockchain security, and privacy-preserving technologies for emergency networks. I am an active IEEE member and serve as a manuscript reviewer for top-tier international journals.
On the professional and practical front, I design and deploy critical utility communications infrastructure and network solutions at Tonga Power Limited. My work focuses on linking remote generation sites, backup storage, and intelligent field devices to SCADA systems to drive clean energy transitions. Navigating a heavily male-dominated career path as the only female engineer at my workplace holding a doctoral degree, I bring a unique, highly resilient perspective to infrastructure modernization and emergency communications restoration during national disaster recovery efforts. My field experience also includes space industry research with Japan Space Systems analyzing satellite data applications, alongside a JICA-sponsored program in Fiji evaluating smart utility solutions. Additionally, I am a GWNET alumna, a former participant in the World Bank and GWNET Women in Energy Storage Mentoring Programme, and a current active member of the Pacific Women in Power program, dedicated to advancing gender equity and climate leadership across Pacific Island nations.
