HILDA KABULI

Hilda Kabuli is a Research Statistician with adequate knowledge on research design, data collection techniques and analysis as well as presentation of the scientific results. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Statistics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She currently works for the Department of Agricultural Research Services (DARS) in the Ministry of Agriculture as a Chief Agricultural Research Statistician since 2003. She has over 20 years’ experience working as a Research Statistician. Apart from providing statistical advice to researchers, she also provides  training to the research staff, students and other stakeholders on experimental research design, survey design, sampling methodologies, data collection, data analysis and reporting of the research results. Apart from performing her duties as a statistician, she also represent my Department in different committees including the Africa Risk Capacity Technical Working Group where the country pays for weather insurance as a measure in cases of drought. She has also collaborated in agricultural and climate related research work.
