Please provide your short bio reflecting on your academic, professional and practical background

I am a policy advisor and gender specialist with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of gender equality, climate policy, energy transition and sustainable development. My academic background includes a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration, a BSc in Sociology, and advanced graduate studies in Social Policy and in Energy and Sustainable Development, which give me a strong multidisciplinary foundation.

I have worked with international organizations, NGOs, municipalities, and political institutions, leading gender analyses and action plans for the EU Delegation in Türkiye (environment, energy, and climate change sectors), acting as Social Expert for an offshore wind pre‑EIA, and coordinating climate justice and just transition campaigns with Greenpeace International. Earlier in my career, I spent six years as a social policy and foreign affairs advisor in a major political party, focusing on policy development and legislative strategies.

I bring practical expertise in gender mainstreaming, participatory methodologies, intersectional research, and stakeholder engagement, and I am passionate about integrating gender perspectives into climate technology, resilience, and policy processes to achieve inclusive and sustainable outcomes.
