My name is Charline DOUANLA FEUYEM, an environmental engineer from Cameroon. As a Junior Senator for Cameroon at the United Nations, I am also a specialist in gender-based violence. I have practical experience in integrating women into ecosystem restoration value chains, with a particular focus on non-timber forest products.
I participated in a workshop on the IPCC guidelines and greenhouse gas inventory, further enhancing my skills in analyzing and formulating solutions to climate challenges. Additionally, I am actively involved in the Cameroon Country Programme Strategy OP8 for UNDP and lead Smile4All Cameroon, a humanitarian association dedicated to community health and charitable initiatives.
An alumna of the 40th cohort of YALI Accra, I am passionate about sustainable agriculture and agricultural economics, areas in which I plan to pursue a PhD. My commitment also extends to climate reparations, where I work to amplify the perspectives of the Global South.
