Dr. Datchanamoorthy Ramu is a dedicated social worker, human rights educator, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) advocate from India. He holds a B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Anna University and an M.A. in Social Science from the School of Business and Trade, Switzerland. He has also completed a Diploma in Global Diplomacy from the University of London.
Professionally, Dr. Ramu has held prominent roles, including serving as the South Asia Regional Director for the G17 University Ambassadors Consortium and leading the International Cyber Safety and Training Division at the National Cyber Defense Research Centre. He has been actively involved with international organizations such as the United Nations and the Commonwealth, making significant contributions to youth empowerment, human rights education, and sustainable development initiatives.
Dr. Ramu is the co-founder of the International Youth Forum (IYF), a platform that advocates for human rights and SDGs globally. His extensive work has earned him prestigious awards, including the Karmaveer Chakra, Bharat Jothi Award, and various international honors, further cementing his impact on global advocacy efforts.
