Ani Varghese holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from NICHE, a B.Tech in Computer Engineering from CUSAT, and a Certificate in Programme Management from IIM Kozhikode. Her academic foundation combines technology, data systems, and program design, enabling her to apply digital innovation effectively in climate and sustainability domains.
Professionally, Ani has over 22 years of experience spanning climate technology, carbon market mechanisms, ESG integration, and digital MRV frameworks. As Founder and Director of ZeroEarth Private Limited, she leads climate-action programs that integrate methane mitigation, carbon finance, and women’s empowerment in rural India. She previously served as Senior Vice President at mistEO Pvt. Ltd., where she managed climate intelligence projects and product development aligned with sustainability goals.
Her practical expertise lies in designing and implementing kinnovative climate and fintech products  that transition into beautiful working models with seamless scalability and ,maximum benefit to farmers, uplifting women dairy farmers from subsistence to entrepreneurship. She has worked directly with smallholder dairy cooperatives, developing digitally monitored and traceable systems for emission reduction. and incentivising reduces offsets. Through her initiatives, Ani combines scientific rigor, social inclusion, and financial innovation to create scalable, verifiable climate impact.
