    Dr. Ana T. Amorim-Maia is a dedicated postdoctoral researcher at the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) with a profound expertise in gender and climate technologies. Her academic journey led her to earn a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Technology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), focusing on intersectional climate justice. During her doctoral research at the Barcelona Lab for Urban Environmental Justice and Sustainability (BCNUEJ), she explored the theoretical underpinnings, practical applications, and lived experiences of climate injustice.

    Ana's research contributes significantly to the field, as reflected in her numerous publications in reputable journals such as Landscape and Urban Planning, Environmental Policy and Governance, and Urban Climate.
