The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) is organising the Regional Forum for the Caribbean Island Countries in collaboration with the Government of Jamaica,  SIDS DOCK Secretariat and the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC/5Cs) on the 24-25 th of August in Kingston, Jamaica. The purpose of the regional meeting is to:

  • Present the latest development of CTCN services to countries in the region;
  • Share experiences and best practices from CTCN technical assistance in the region, including those involving collaboration with the GCF;
  • Strengthen linkages between the UNFCCC Technology Mechanism and the Financial Mechanism and enhance collaboration between NDEs and National Designated Authorities (NDAs) to articulate concrete proposals on climate technologies,
  • Increase south-south learning, and create networking opportunities through show-casing innovative climate technologies.
