The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) celebrates its 5th year of operations this year. As the implementing arm of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Technology Mechanism, co-hosted by UN Environment and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Centre connects developing countries to the innovative and relevant technologies they seek.
The high-level UN representatives from the UNFCCC, UN Environment and UNIDO will highlight how the CTCN has helped countries to implement their climate change commitments under the Paris Agreement. Government, private sector and National Designated Entities (NDEs) will discuss technology priorities for the CTCN’s next five years.
