The Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN) is pleased to announce the 2024 Africa NDE Forum, scheduled for 27-28 August, followed by the AI Capacity-building Programme from 29-30 August. 

Celebrating a decade of CTCN:

The Africa NDE Forum will mark the 10th anniversary of the CTCN. This milestone event will provide an opportunity to review experiences, share good practices, and learn lessons from the past decade. The forum aims to enhance future collaboration in alignment with regional, sub-regional, and national priorities.

Forum highlights:

The annual Regional Forums, hosted by CTCN, gather National Designated Entities (NDEs), selected Advisory Board (AB) members, Technology Executive Committee (TEC) members, Network members, and other stakeholders. The 2024 forum will feature discussions on several key topics, including:

  • Review of CTCN procedures and NDE insights
  • Latest developments from the UNFCCC Technology Mechanism
  • Strategies for securing funding for climate action
  • Roundtable discussions on green hydrogen
