Capacity building and training

A country cannot mitigate or adapt to climate change without first strengthening skills and the knowledge to do so. The CTCN works with network members and local stakeholders to provide information, training and support to build and/or strengthen the capacity of developing countries to identify, maintain and adapt climate technology solutions.  Capacity building and training can enable decision-makers to initiate change on local and national level. As part of this effort, the CTCN strives to develop analytical tools, policies and best practices for country-driven climate mitigation and adaptation.   • Centre for Energy and Green Growth Research

    Established in 1998, the Centre for Energy and Green Growth Research (CEGR, formerly the Research Centre for Energy and Environment) is a not-for-profit research and consulting organization and a non-governmental member of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA). The Centre would serve as a kernel for collaboration in technology transfer and application penetration in Vietnam, in the field of energy, environment and socio-economic towarding sustainable development.

    VIGMR, established since 1965 under MONRE, is leading research institute in Vietnam on Geosciences and Mineral Resources.
