CTCN/Radboud summer school: Climate action for sustainable development (presentations)

The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) together with the Radboud University (the Netherlands) organized a summer school on the climate action for sustainable development. There were 28 participants from 23 different countries of which CTCN is sponsoring 15 participants from the Least Developed Countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Chad, Djibouti, Guinea, Malawi, Myanmar, Mozambique, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia). 

48 African countries met in Nairobi to explore climate change technologies

Climate experts from Africa met in Kenya to discuss collaboration and technology transfer. Representatives from government, private sector, finance and research institutions gathered in Nairobi, Kenya.

Atlaspower is a company established in 2013 by Vitor Ribeiro, after 30 years working on the power, environmental and chemical recovery sectors of the Portuguese and Spanish pulp and paper heavy industry. Atlaspower's main targets are:

1. The development of power and energy efficiency projects, acting as IPP and/or ESCO, according to the circumstances, initially in the Iberian market, and specifically in Portugal, but the soonest extending this activity to Africa, beginning with Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé e Principe; and
